Amma.  My spiritual teacher is Mata Amritanandamayi, known as Amma, for whom I owe so much. Amma.org

She is known internationally for her good works, and has been recognized several times by the United Nations.  Amma is an Avatar with amazing healing powers herself and has an Ashram and a Medical School in Kerala, India.   She is a comfort to many.
